Biography

She is the first female barista in Rwanda and the owner and managing director of Integrated Barista Training Centre Ltd (IBTC) Rwanda, with mission to promote Rwandan coffee by educating SCA courses to coffee farmers, processers and exporters with focus on local and international consumption by training baristas and selling Rwandan coffee from the original to the Worldwide.


She is Authorized Specialty Coffee Trainer (AST) in Barista Skills, Brewing skills, Green coffee and Sensory skills where she has trained over 1000 students through the coffee value chain.


Over 12 years she accumulated the experience in the Coffee industry from the original to the final elaboration (coffee value chain) she certified also in roasting and cupping, with experienced to work with coffee farms and coffee produces.


She oversaw marketing of the women coffee and elaborate and conducting the curriculum of the SCA coffee training for Sustainable Growers Rwanda' s Social Enterprise Question Coffee where she had led the training program for Barista Academy under the Hanga Ahazaza initiative including the partners, she was also national barista championship include SCA Barista Camp scholarship 2019 winner in Greece.


She developed her carrier from a Barista, Quality control, roaster to assistant store manager in Bourbon Coffee. On farm level, she worked as cooperative manager and trainer at COCAGI (Cooperative des Café Iculteurs de Gishoma) where she oversaw the green coffee trading and marketing of green coffee in different part of world as well as connecting the cooperative with potential buyers. she has experience in developing coffee training from the Farm to the cup, customer care services.


Her vision is to inspiring women to join coffee industry and take it as career not like job.
